Bring your pre-schooler to this program designed to connect them to the wonders of the natural world. In addition to hearing a great story, your child will participate in a craft, game or other hands-on activity related to the story that is read. This activity is recommended for ages 3 to 5.

- Winter Hours (November - March): 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
- Summer Hours (April - October): 8 a.m. to 10 a.m.
Join the Friends of Brooker Creek Preserve and get your gardening hands dirty in our wildflower garden!
Please bring your garden gloves and hat and meet outside of the Auditorium. Morning snacks are usually provided!

There is no need to register for this program. This simply serves as a promotion and informational guide for the Brooker Creek Preserve Earthcache.
This is an ongoing event you can participate in at your convenience. Find a date that is good for you and join us at the preserve for a fun day of outdoor experiential learning through technology.

Music Jamboree

3:30 to 5 p.m.
Sponsored by the Friends of Brooker Creek Preserve
All ages are welcome to attend this free event.
Musicians are encouraged to bring their guitar, fiddle, banjo, bass or other acoustic instrument to the outdoor pavilion for a jam session. Participants will be able to meet other musicians, perform and learn new songs. The jam session will be led by a local musician.
Music lovers are also welcome to come, listen and enjoy the music in the natural setting of Brooker Creek Preserve. Visitors are encouraged to bring along snacks, beverages and lawn chairs or blankets. Alcohol and pets are not allowed. The event will be held rain or shine. Brooker Creek Preserve’s Environmental Education Center auditorium will be the rain location.

Fall Wildflower Festival
October TBA, 2017

Sponsored by the Friends of Brooker Creek Preserve
This free family-oriented event offers children’s fun and learning craft area, honeybee observation hive, wildflowers for sale, and a walk-through tent with over 250 live butterflies.
The Wildflower Quest will offer an opportunity to visit the trails and seek the many wildflowers in bloom. Last hunt out at 3 p.m. Naturalists on the trails to answer questions. Food available.
