The Brooker Creek Preserve Environmental Education
Center and its sister facility, Weedon Island Preserve Cultural and Natural History Center, is staffed with four (4) permanent employees
and over 70 volunteers.
Our permanent education services staff include
an Environmental Education Coordinator and three (3) Environmental Educators. The division's Administrative Support Supervisor acts as the Volunteer Program Coordinator.
Volunteerism is a great way to serve your local community and meet other talented people. The Center offers many volunteer opportunities, and all assistance is greatly appreciated by the staff and visitors.
Students in need of off-campus course requirements
are encouraged to contact us to learn more about student internship opportunities.
