Camps
During the course of the year, the Center offers a
variety of programs targeted at school-aged children
and teachers. These may include camp and workshop programs
offered during the summer and school holidays. In 2010, the Center is hosting a summer camp provided by Heinrich Ecological Services.
Herpetology
Camp by Heinrich Ecological Services
Inquisitive children love this 4-day nature
camp where they explore the fascinating world
of amphibians and reptiles side-by-side with
George Heinrich, a professional herpetologist. Through
up-close encounters with a variety of animals
such as gopher tortoises, frogs, lizards, and
snakes, campers learn about amphibian and reptile
ecology and conservation.

9:00 am – 4:00 pm
Who should attend?
Students entering 2nd – 6th grade in August
2009 and are between the ages of 7 – 11
are encouraged to attend.
Registration Fee
$120/camper/week
Each session is limited to 30 campers and registration
is on a first-come basis.
